        Latest information
      5. Accessibility

Is the museum accessible to people with a disability?
The authentic and historic character of the house means that MOA does not have full disabled access. Our caretakers help at the main entrance and a stair lift affords access to the first and second floor. The toilets (including a disabled access toilet) are located in the coach house.

Does the museum have special facilities for babies and young children?
Prams/pushchairs may be taken into the museum, but carrier backpacks must be deposited at the cloakroom in the coach house. Baby changing facilities are available in the coach house.

Does the museum have special facilities for blind and partially sighted people?
Unfortunately guide dogs cannot be admitted to the museum. Canes are of course permitted. Visitors who are unable to conduct themselves around the museum independently may bring one person to accompany them free of charge.

Is there a cloakroom, are there lockers?
The museum has a cloakroom and lockers for bags and rucksacks. Small handbags (no larger than A3) may be taken into the museum.
